    1. Start Internet Explorer

    1. From the menus, select Tools; Preferences; Connection; Settings...

    1. Tick the "use automatic configuration" and enter "http://minkirri.apana.org.au/proxy.pac" as the URL

  Notes

    When your internet connection is started by your browser, Internet Explorer has a tendency to not use the proxy for the first request, resulting in the first request being redirected to the proxy configuration page. Simply hitting the refresh button should make IE use the proxy and fetch the page correctly.
