"Fine then, lets do it this way!" The Shadow swung at Shady, but Shady parried the attack. Much to his dismay Shady's sword broke at that. "Forgot to ask it nicely, doh" The Shadow almost doubled over laughing gave Shady an opening he needed. He aimed the black rock and fired. The beam flew through The Shadow at hit a house behind him, melting it into a smoldering pile of ash. Realizing he had just he attacked with something more powerful than before, the Shadow took Shady seriously and attacked more aggressivley. Without a sword to fight with Shady had to think fast. He grabed the green rock and the shield sprang up around him that deflected The Shadow's attacks easily.
"Aarrrgh, I hate that thing!" The Shadow cursed as he tried harder to break through the shield. Shady realizing he had to do something or else this fight would never end.
He held out the purple rock! "Hope you like getting stoned!" He punned, but it was wasted The Shadow was unaffected. *Ok so it only works on stuff that has a physical body* Shady thought to himself. He tries something else... "Lave, yellow!" Lave understood the signal and turned his back to his friend so his opponent was facing Shady. Bright piecring light filled the city, blinding The Shadow and his little Lave wanna be. Lave swung around and attacked The Shadow ferociously, the flaming sword biting into the non-corporeal figure. Shady threw Lave the red stone and Lave's surrounded himself in white light. While The Shadow was occupied with Lave, Shady fumbled through his pockets... "Crapola, where is it!!!" Rummaging through his collection of happyrocks searching for the one that could end this. The Shadow saw Shady had taken his hands off the green rock and the shield was down.
"Try this on for size, Hero!" The Shadow cried out and threw his sword back and started gathering darkness around him. "HAVOC!" Strands of darkness and chaos lashed out at toward Shady and he grabbed what he thought was the green rock again, but instead an orange shield sprang up around him. The strands hit the shield and were re-directed toward The Shadow. Under assault by his own powers The Shadow moved quickly to avoid being destroyed by his own attack. Shady felt something in his left pocket warm up. He tried to grab for it, but had a little trouble using his wing, so he grabed with his right hand. The Silver rock had lit up and was waiting for something. Shady held it out and the rock flared brightly, multiple strands of darkness and chaos shot out from the rock and toward The Shadow. No longer able to avoid the onslaught of 2 Havocs The Shadow retreated.
"We will meet again, and I wont hold back next time." Was the figure's final words before fading away. Lave's shadow had taken it's proper place back at his feet. Lave gave a triumphant laugh and stabbed at it a few times. Shady was more worried with who or what that was.
"Shady, that was great!" Lave exclaimed. "But I think we have circle to get." Pointing to the bell in the distance. "By the way who was that?"
"No idea, but I have a feeling we'll see him again."
They two strolled more relaxed since Lave had not sensed anything threatening
around. They reached the bell, saying it was huge would be an understatement.
Over 50 feet tall and who knows how wide this thing seemed designed to
be heard no matter where you were. The light went up inside the bell.
Shady followed it, lookng up near the top he could see the shining gold
circle he had been after for so long. "Lave it's here! I can
see it, but it's way out of reach. Too far for me to pull telekinetically"
He could tell what he said was lost as his voice echoed all around him.
So he repeated himself
telepathically.
"Perhaps if we ring the bell, it'll knock it down." His friend suggested after Shady had climbed out. Taking this idea Shady pointed toward a large wooden battering ram lined up with the bell. "Ok we'll do this together." Enhancing their strength in their own way they pulled it back and hit the bell as hard as they could. The ringing was earsplitting reverberating through the whole city, through the whole valley. It felt as though the whole world was feeling it.
When the noise stopped and so did the ringing in their ears, Shady and Lave looked under the bell where the circle now layed, waiting. Shady reached for it and felt memories coming back to him. When he held it in his hand he could remember everything. He raised the circle up into the air and it vanished from his hands. Shady himself glowed brightly gold as armor formed around him. The Hero's armor, he knew it. Far more durable than anything else ever made by human hands. When the glow faded Shady stood there, his left arm normal again, able to remember the times he had dreamed of recently. He also remembered something about his power, he could only use each of the rocks once before having to rest.
He smiled at his friend, "lets get home."

Brief history lesson: In one of the more recent happyrocks games, Steven, Jeremy, and Jonathan went to the ancient city of sound to stop The Shadow from getting his hands on the weapon that was mentioned. The Shadow turned Jeremy's shadow against him and used the weapon on Steven. Steven was forced to use the Green happyrock in a different way than as a shield and fired a focused beam to counter the weapon's own attack. Jonathan reached the bell and rang it, destroying the weapon and returning Jeremy's shadow to it's owner. Resulting in "Saved by the bell" being quoted by all involved.
