Shady's Tail, Er, Tale chapter 10 - Finished Business

Shady had gathered other happyrocks.  The orange one, which when touched put a shield around him like the green one, though it felt different somehow. The Silver one which he still has no idea what it does.  The Grey one which rendered him invisible, yet he still felt vulnerable.  The White one which when used on an opponent made them cease to exist entirely.  And the Gold one which as far as he can tell makes a pile of gold on the ground.

"Lets see, primary colors check, secondary colors check, neutral colors check, and Gold/Silver check.  I guess thats all of them."  He turned back to his dragon form and flew back to where Lave would be waiting for him.

It was already night by the time he arrived back at the castle.  Lave was looking right up at him, waving.  Shady landed and noticed his friend was grinning ear to ear.  "Ok so what'd you do?"  His friend showed him the flaming sword and surrounded himself in a white light.

"This light increases my strength, it also makes me more resistant to physical attacks and completely immune to magic." Lave smiled proudly.

Shady turned back to his human form.  And held out the red and green rocks. "This one doubles my stregnth and this one makes me completely invulnerable."

"Yeah, but you don't have a flaming sword!"

Shady gave in "You got me on that one."

The two headed in telling each other about what happened to them.  When they entered the castle Shady pulled out the yellow rock "Shield your eyes, I'm not sure if this can be used as a small light source."  The rock lit up brightly, illuminating the hallway but not so brightly that it was blinding. "Cool, so it can be used that way!"  They went into the back room and felt the world shift around them.

At first it seemed as though nothing changed, they were still in the black castle but when Shady looked outside he saw a totally different world. "Green sky, bright pink grass, blue mountains, and orange water?  What is this place?"  Lave shrugged.  "I thought there were only 2 worlds and one was toast."

"So did I, but can you doubt your own eyes?"  Lave replied.

They stepped out into the open and Shady tried to change to his dragon form, but couldn't.  "Whats going on?  I can't change!"  He tried again, harder this time, but still nothing.  He looked at his friend with a look of hopelessness "Looks like we walk."  Lave didn't seem to upset.  They wandered back to the southern edge of the island.
