ETTING
OME
LFANDRA
"Ah, another beautiful day in Alfandra." Shadowing says idly as he spreads his wings and takes to the skies. Aimlessly flying around enjoying the rush of wind around him he looks down at the ground and sees Hespa. As prepares to descend he noticed a look of sheer terror on Hespa's face. "Something's not right Here..." just as he finishes his observation of the apparent he is pulled into a vortex. He examines the 'tunnel' he's traveling through, multi colored almost a continuous shifting from color to the next never ceasing or slowing. "I've seen this before, like something from long ago... but from what?"
Everything goes white and he is forced to shield his eyes from the bright light. When he feels it's safe he opens his eyes and can only make out a strange and dense purple fog. Though this strikes a chord of recognition he still can't remember from where. "Hello? Anyone out there?" He calls out, but to no avail. For he is in a void between worlds. One that he had navigated effortlessly in what almost seems like another life now.
He tries to gaze through the fog but it's far too thick and he couldn't make out his own claws he wanted. "This is pointless," he tells himself. Just then, something triggered a memory and he turns 45 degrees to his left and flies at top speed. Knowing this was the way to go to get out, but not knowing where it would lead he flew onward. Only a few minutes went past and the fog began to thin. He finally worked his way out and turned around to lok back at where he came from. Seeing an ominous purple wall holding it's place and a small sign right outside reading "Gap: Keep out."
"The Gap? Where have I heard of that before?" Unsure of his location he flew up into the air to get a better view. He saw a small town directly east. To the south there was what appeared to be a deep crimson river seperating the continent he was above from another larger continent. When he turned to the west he was startled by what he saw. That same purple wall of fog rose ever higher into the air, seemingly with no end in sight. He gave up trying to figure it out and turned north where he saw open plains. "Looks like my best bet is to go to town." Fairly positive of how humans would treat a 25 foot black dragon asking for directions he turns into his human form. Forgetting he is still airborne he begins making a rapid descent. He quickly tries to change back but is too slow. He hits the ground and blacks out.
