Avin'kar gasped for air. He
shook his head and looked down on Rashad. "Like I said before, pathetic",
he smiled as he watched the blue dragon trying to get up. The red dragon's
black eyes lit up with satisfaction as he began to laugh.
An angry roar erupted out
of no where. The red dragon looked forward, only to be hit hard in his
chest. He faltered backward as he tried to figure out what had happened.
Soon, another hit, to his back, threw him down. Avin'kar growled and looked
up. A fairly angered Jehann flew above. She turned and swooped down toward
him again. "Come on, I'll give you a fight!"
Avin'kar charged across
the brightening meadow and began to stretch out his wings. Before he unfurled
all the way, Jehann came down toward him. She was literally covered with
a yellow-white light. Rearing back with a toss of her head, the blue dragoness
let out a furious bolt of lighting. The energy blast hit the crimson hued
dragon straight in the face. Faltering back once more, he felt her head
hit him in his chest. She slammed him into the ground. He twisted his body
over fast and threw her aside. Jehann landed a few feet away, crouching
low to attack again. =
The red dragon
tried to look at the other but realized something terribly wrong. 'Only
my one eye.........the blast...'. He fingered his other eye, taking in
what he feared. "My eye", he whispered, feeling the deepened gash. He looked
to see Jehann charging at him. She flew low over the field toward him,
wasting no time. He growled,"You shall pay for this! Another time."
The cloud
of smoke appeared again. It disappeared, and as expected, Avin'kar with
it.
