Jehann the Wanderer part 10.3

After an hour of walking, Geni Long had lead the twins up onto a grassy hill. At the top, she stopped and scanned the skies. 'Any minute now.' Each land, each world had one or more natural anomalies which can be manipulated into portals or RealmGates; each differing in ever place. There are certain places in each realm to find one. Though, the only problems were that they were on timed intervals; that one portal can lead only to 5 certain worlds; and one must have some idea on how to manipulate them. When the anomaly first appears, you must touch the outer most part of it and think of your destination. It will then do the rest.
The elf took a deep breath. She was going to send the two to a place called Parnth. She looked behind herself to see the pair walking up the path. It was a good thing that Rashad was going with Jehann; being a vagabond for a while, he was experienced in traveling between worlds. She watched them. Rashad was laughing a bit as his sister winked playfully. Her ward was never the laughing type, being more quiet and quite pensive at times. The only times he seemed like that was toward the children. 'Finally', she smiled.
The twins met up with Geni Long on the top of the hill. "Where is it?", Jehann asked.
"Wait", the elven woman answered,".......now."
A sharp gust of wind slammed into the ground, giving off a resounding *POW*. The grass in the area flattened, as wind gusts moved in a circular motion. The windy circles flipped vertically, becoming rings of wind. They contracted, the gusts growing stronger as a reddish color began to flourish. Within seconds, a vertical ring of swirling red mist formed. Then, another formed around it and so on until a fifth ring formed.
Geni Long walked steadily toward the rings and extended her arm. She touched the outer ring lightly and closed her eyes. As she did so, the rings rippled and started to distort. They waved and expanded. A sound of thunder erupted. Jehann looked to the anomaly now and stared. "Whoa."
The red mist rings were gone. In their place, a spherical image of a beach shore was present. On the shore, there was an odd-looking, white limestone tower covered with huge thorns that curved upward. "That's Koonruin", Rashad explained to Jehann," a providence of Parnth. As I remember, there's an anomaly that appears right up the shore."
Geni Long nodded. "Yes, use it to go to Averry, then you'll go to Mundane. Finally, take a gate there to go to Alfandra. It should take atleast 2 days."
Rashad gave her a nod and looked to Jehann. "Jehann? Are you okay?"
The blue dragoness looked troubled. "I don't know, I just have this really bad feeling right now", she looked to the sky, "something is wrong."
"Well, you can't worry about that now. It's time to go", Geni Long instructed.
Jehann sighed and gave in. Though, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was coming.....or someone. 'But, who?'
