Jehann the Wanderer part 10.2

***A few hours later***
    "All ready to go?"
The draconic twins looked over to Geni Long. They were outside on Nira's surrounding grounds. The sun was high in the early afternoon sky. The skies were clear except for a few fluffs of grey, which suggested a small shower approaching. The calm winds were steady and low.
"Ready as could be", Jehann answered. Rashad nodded absently, as he double checked their bags. He would wave his tail to and for a bit, every so often; the antique style, gold band near the end of his tail glittered in the sunlight. His sister had asked him about the band, the dragon telling her it was a souvineer from his days as Sea Ghost. No matter how much she pried, he only said that and nothing else. The dragoness dropped the subject, resorting to poking it with her tail whenever she felt like it; which was what she was doing right now. "Will you quit?", he asked, a little annoyed.
Jehann moved her tail away slowly, "Who, me?" She poked it again real quick. Rashad looked at her sharply, as she pretended to hit an imaginary fly on her neck.
   He grumbled, "Just forget it."
   "Forget what?", she asked.
   "Quitting."
   "Quitting what?"
"You know what."   "Do I? What is it?"   "Just for....get it." "No, no, I want to know."    "Poking me!", he finally yelled at her.
Jehann blinked a few times. "I was poking you?"
Rashad rolled his eyes as Geni Long chuckled. Sh couldn't help but continue as she watched Jehann /ponder/ and her twin giving her an annoyed stare.  She shook her head, 'Mmh Mmh, youth.'  "Before we start, I have something for the both of you."  The elven woman took something out of her pocket. She opened her fist in front of the blue pair. In it were two necklaces; one with a heavy, gold chain, the other with a heavy, silver chain. Both had a charm made of amber; in the shape of a circular, Celtic knot. Geni Long handed each dragon one. Rashad gaining the one with the gold chain; for he liked gold. Jehann receiving the silver one; for her love of silver.
"They're very nice, Geni Long", Jehann concluded, "you didn't have to."
"Oh, but young dragon, they are not just jewelry for show," the elf explained, "Take the charm in to your hand and hold it in your fist. Then, think of your brother."
Complying, the dragoness did just that. As she closed her eyes, she felt a tingling sensation go up her back. She held a giggle as she started to think deeply about her twin. The dragon began to sense something, better yet....someone! 'Huh?', she thought. 'Hey.' was the response. Jehann's eyes flew open and looked over to Rashad. He raised an eye, showing he too was holding his. "Telepathy?"
Geni Log nodded. "Since you two were separated at such a young age, you're natural ability of such was buried. Inside your psyche", she said,"The charms just help you reawaken it, for it will be a while before either of you will regain the ability naturally. You may thank me now."
Jehann smiled and took up her charm again. 'Hey, hey, guess what!?' 'What's that?'
'I see London, I see France, I see someone's underpants!'
Rashad opened his eyes and gave her a look. "Are you /sure/ you're related to me?"
She beamed, "And I love you, too, Tehrann."
Lowering his head, he sighed, "Heaven help me."
