Cypherwulf's Tale part 4

"What is your name, young human, and how did you know mine?"
The boy gets up shakily, Cypherwulf aids him. Sighing and clutching his chest he says,
"I'm Bryan. You may have not seen me before but I've seen you many times. In my dreams, you are always there to protect me. When I am about to fall, you pick me up, when someone is chasing me, you stop them, when I am sad, you make me happy. Last night, you told me you would be waiting here for me. You said you would give me wings and teach me to fly away from here."
Cypherwulf smiles and hugs Bryan saying,
"Fly away from here? Don't you have family? They would be awfully sad if you left, wouldn't they?"
Bryan was silent for a few moments and asks,
"You'll teach me how to fly, won't you?"
Cypherwulf is loathe to say no to the child but she does not know how to give him what he wants. Finally she speaks in a voice barely above a whisper,
"I will teach you how to fly Bryan."
