Athagon's Story part 12

*And then he awoke.  And, his head no longer ached.  He was lying on cool hard stone, in fact, this place looked familiar...
He stood up in shock.  He was back home, but how?  He heard a faint meeping, and he ran, and found Solara, standing beside a broken vase.  Apparently she had knocked the vase over (hence the crashing sound in Part 1).  In fact.. That would mean that Athagon hadn't been gone at all?  But then, what was the explanation for the abnormally tinted piece of rat hair clasped in his claws?  With disgust he threw it away, and picked up Solara.  The sun was just rising over to the east, and as Athagon stood outside his lair on Memory Mountain, holding Solara, a light breeze blowing over his face, he smiled.  He was back home, and it felt good to be back home.*
